This month I crushed my Confetti Crush kit and made seven pages! This kit that I made for the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog was definitely one of my favorites and I had lots of fun using it. This collection was based on our inspiration kit from Quirky Kits, seen here.
The first layout I made with this kit is the one below, based on the first challenge of the month:
The inspiration this month is the May/June 2014 collection of Quirky Kits and the first challenge celebrates those neglected letters. Please feature a Q and/or a K on your project e.g. use a monogram, include the letter(s) in your BIG title – but something other than journalling – those letter(s) must be loud and proud!
This page documents my favorite quiet moments during a drawing class I took this spring–complete with a Q and a K!
The next layout was for challenge #2–a sketch challenge that you can see on this post.
Another layout was based on the third challenge at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog:
Our third challenge for you this month is to do some tessellating on your page. Sounds too complicated? Call it patchwork then! Include some patterns on your page created by piecing together paper shapes.
I always love using my Silhouette to create intricate backgrounds, so I used this challenge to make my version of a tessellated page.
The final layouts made from this kit were done for Layout a Day challenges, going on at the Scrap Happy website. The theme of this LOAD is all about me, so these pages tell specific stories about my life.
If you would like to see more stash-busting layouts, go over to Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog and see what the Master Forgers are up to this month. The member blog hop is coming up on May 24th–please join us!
