Thanks for stopping by today! If you are here for the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog Hop, you should have come from Julene’s blog. If you would like to see a list of the entire hop, just go back to the beginning.
And the embellishment kit:
I must admit that this month’s inspiration kit had me stymied at first. I was immediately struck by the photo-realistic bokeh paper–so cute–but I knew I had nothing in my stash remotely similar!
So then I began looking deeper–I focused in on the color scheme and theme of the entire kit. I saw pink, blue, gold, and yellow as well as an overall party theme. I began my kit by choosing papers that were in those colors and reflected the festive theme.
I looked to the embellishment kit for inspiration in what other supplies to add to my kit. While I did not have many of the exact products found in the inspiration kit, I did have supplies that followed along with the festive theme.
I added puffy stickers, confetti, orange ribbon, word stickers, a few die cuts, flair, and a few other fun products. Finally, when I had all of my supplies together, I came up the the name of this month’s kit, Confetti Crush.
Make sure to check back this month as I reveal the projects I create with this kit. I think I will have a lot of fun working with this bright and festive collection!
Next stop on the hop is Leslie’s blog–make sure to check out her take on this month’s inspiration kit.
