Taking a cue from home decor styles can breathe new life into your scrapbook pages. For this page, I used elements of the English countryside style to document the many wildflowers we have on our farm.
Each spring, summer, and fall, wildflowers of all sorts bloom on our property. At times, I feel as if I am living in a windswept English countryside! So to create this layout, I went to this Pinterest board at Get It Scrapped and chose several elements of this style to use on my page.
First, I chose pink, seen in much English country decor, as the main color of the page. I had a patterned paper with cute little bows all over it–another element of the English countryside style. I also used floral paper, a doily, a butterfly, flowers, a bird, and a felt bow to further reinforce my theme.
