Hello and welcome to the July Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog hop! You should be arriving here from Julene’s blog. If you would like to start at the beginning of the hop, just head back over to the CKC blog. And now on with the reveal!
This month I have the pleasure of bringing you the inspiration kit and challenges. When pondering what kind of kit I would like to be inspired by this month, I envisioned a collection with bright colors, fun patterns, and cool embellishments. I found all three in the August 2016 kit “Walden Pond” from Cocoa Daisy. The kit has bold blues, and greens, and yellows. The patterned papers are a nice mix of geometric and organic shapes. And the embellishments—well I just LOVE those swirls!
When I began putting together my kit, I remembered that I had an October Afternoon summer collection that I bought a few years ago that would be a perfect starting point. The kit already had patterned paper, stickers, enamel dots, and washi tape, so I just added a few more summery embellishments and this month’s kit, which I named Summer Love, was complete!
I am SO excited to use this kit! I already have tons of photographs from this summer to scrap. And I am using up my stash!
