What’s Next?

One of the challenges on the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog this month was to document a next move. Do a project sharing what your next move in life is.  What is a goal?  What is a dream?  What would you like to do if you could? This challenge was very timely for me in that I am getting ready for a substantial next move–I just applied to art school.

Going to art school has been a dream of mine for many years. Now that my children are older I decided it was time for me to make this move. So I documented this new venture in a layout using my Autumn Adventure kit.

I chose to use a photograph of my camera equipment to represent going to art school. (I am hoping to have a concentration in photography.) Since I already had my supplies ready from my kit, I then looked for a sketch. I picked a sketch from the Get It Scrapped membership library. (If you are not a member of Get It Scrapped, you should definitely check it out!)

And there is my finished layout! I hope that next year at this time I will be able to share a page about actually being in art school!

Now head on over to the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog to see the projects from other Master Forgers for this challenge. And if you choose to make your own layout about your next move, make sure to link your creation.

  1. Wow, that’s an exciting prospect. You go girl! Coming to terms with the kids being gone has been on my mind a lot lately too – but I’ve no bold plans (yet?).

  2. Well, I was so excited about the news that I forgot to comment on the layout – it’s style shows you will do well in art school. Like I said, you go girl!

  3. Congrats on what must have been an easy/difficult decision to work through! A wonderful goal for a new era and chapter in your life. Great idea to use the photo of the camera to represent everything Art School. Super page
