Antique Butterfly | August CKC Blog Hop

Welcome to the last stop on the August Counterfeit Kit Challenge reveal blog hop! I know you have seen so many inspiring kits along the way. (If you would like to start at the beginning of the hop–just go to the blog.)

This month we are using the March kit from The Papier Werkstatt in Germany. This collection is a beautiful collection of softly-hued papers and kraft embellishments. To make my kit, I began gathering papers in the same colors–kraft, pink, light blue, and brown. One paper has butterflies, inspired by the butterfly die cut in the embellishments.

While the original kit does not have a very vintage feel, my kit definitely does! So I am calling my August kit Antique Butterfly.

Since I do not normally work with products with such a vintage look, I am excited to explore this kit during August. Check back later this month to see what I create!

Thanks for stopping by the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog hop today!

Now go create!

  2. Oh! This is such a lovely kit and I was thinking how different (and much bigger) it looks from your usual, clear, bold colours so I’m excited to see the pages you make. I could dive right in and get going with this lovely mix of colours and products. I see lots that I have in my own stash – perhaps I should just copy your kit!

  3. Definitely a lovely take on the inspiration! I don’t “do” vintage either but I love the look of the papers and embellishments so I’ll be checking back to see how you use your kit this month.
