CKC March Kit Reveal Blog Hop

Welcome to this month’s Counterfeit Kit Challenge kit reveal blog hop! You should have found your way here from Julene’s blog. (If you get lost anywhere along the way, just go back to the beginning of the hop here.)

This month our inspiration kit comes from the very talented Ali Edwards–her Click Story Kit. The first thing that caught my eye about this kit was the GREEN–my favorite color! I could not wait to pull together a kit with lots of green.

To begin my kit, which I am calling Lucky Me, I chose several items from an old Studio Calico kit. This kit has a beautiful watercolor patterned paper with green, grey, and blue, as well as a dark green striped paper that echoes the green in the inspiration kit.

Since this kit did not have any embellishments, I simply chose those supplies that I thought would coordinate well with my papers and would reflect the designs in the inspiration kit.

I chose several buttons to mimic the circles in the kit. I also included two 4×6 transparency cards–one of which has cute little cameras on it like in the kit.

Finally I gathered some other embellishments in colors that coordinate with my papers.

Now hop on over to Leslie’s blog to see her take on this month’s kit.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I love your kit – love the softer tones of the papers that you’ve selected and the embellishments are just lovely. Really super and I know that I could really use it too even though green is not really my own fave. Super job!

  2. What a lovely and fresh array of papers. Green is my favorite color, too, but I had recently made a green based kit. Anyway, I just adore that lightbulb wire clip. I hope you have many “lightbulb” moments as you put your pages together this month.

  3. Wow! This is a simply stunning kit! The softer colours make it a much more subtle and versatile! Pleased to hear that you’ll be able to use some favourites 🙂

  4. I really like the fun embellishments you selected, especially those cute light bulb clips and the wonderful selection of buttons. Great idea to focus on just one color. Besides being your favorite, green is perfect for a month with St. Patrick’s Day and spring in it.
