This month I was very busy, but with many non-Christmas-y events. Therefore I found myself lots of photographs around my house since I had decorated for the holidays. I also took advantage of the wonderful light at this time of year. Here are five of my favorite pictures from this month.
This is Trigger, one of our retired ponies. He is almost 25 years old. In the winter, I am usually feeding the horses as the sun comes up or as it is going down, so I frequently bring my camera to catch the beautiful light.
This is the first year we have had these shiny gold balls on our tree. I loved taking pictures of them, especially when I could get a great reflection.
I took this photograph in my car with my iPhone. I was driving early one morning and noticed the cool tic-tac-toe pattern in the sky.
On the day of the winter solstice, we went out and cut pine boughs with which I decorated the house. I love using natural elements in my holiday decor.
These peppermint-and-chocolate cookies were a great hit in our house this year.
And so this brings me to the end of another year. See you in 2017!
Now go create!
