Fancy Flowers | CKC Forgeries on the Fourth

Many years ago in the world of scrapbooking, small paper flowers in glass bottles from Prima were all the rage. I must admit that I succumbed to the loveliness of these flowers and purchased several bottles. Today I have three remaining bottles of flowers, and I must say that I do not use them very often. I tend to reach for newer products and leave these cute flowers on my shelf.

However, this month our inspiration kit comes from Prima and includes a whole slew of gorgeous paper flowers. The ones in the collection are much fancier than mine–so I decided to forge my own!

I simply layered the unadorned flowers and added enamel dots and crystals from my stash. Such an easy way to re-create the flowers in the kit! I know these forged flowers will somehow make it onto a page or two this month.

Now go create!

  1. Clever and a great reminder that most of us have a few (or more!) of these pretty flowers left over from way back when! Thanks for showing us a way to get them on paper!
