Gift Giving with Fresh Air

One of the best things about being a scrapbooker is never having to buy cards at the store. Although I am not a prolific cardmaker, I can usually (with the help of Pinterest) create a pretty card for my intended recipient.

One of the challenges this month at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog is to create a gift tag and card.

From the blog: Challenge #2: Make a Matching Card and Tag! Sometimes it is fun to get all cute with your gift giving. Making a coordinating card and tag is a great way to show you put some effort into it.

I used my January kit, Fresh Air, to craft a card and a coordinating gift tag. I chose the floral paper as the background and then added flowers and brads to both the card and tag. I think I will use these on a gift for my sister’s birthday in April!

Do you have any special days coming up for which you could create a gift tag and card? If you do take this challenge, make sure to share your project on the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog. We would love to see your work!

Now go create!

  1. Even more perfect to make these pretty cards now, in the depths of winter to use later! One year I made some for the whole year and it was so great to just go to my pile and pick the intended one! These are really pretty and I’m sure your sister will love them.
