Since I live on a farm, I take tons of photos outside—of horses, chickens, barns, woods, flowers and a creek. When I shop for scrapbooking supplies, I keep an eye out for anything that reflects the subjects in my pictures. One type of supply that I always like to snag is anything woodgrain. Lucky for me, woodgrain paper and embellishments have been popular lately.
I instantly liked the kit chosen for the Counterfeit Kit Club this month—lots of woodgrain!
I knew that I could make my own kit influenced by the March 2015 kit from Scrapabilly. I pulled together some woodgrain papers and coordinated them with a light, neutral color scheme, reflecting the monochromatic colors in the original kit.
I added woodgrain letter stickers and several wood veneer pieces along with other mostly neutral embellishments. (See below for links.) I cannot wait to use this kit with my farm photos!
