Snow Dog

I have always had a soft spot for animals. When I was young, I loved dogs, cats, frogs, horses, turtles, and unicorns. Unfortunately, my parents were not too keen on having pets, so my sister and I only had two dogs while growing up.

When my husband and I were first married, we adopted two little puppies from the pound. That began a lifelong relationship with animals of all sizes and types.

Right now, we have four dogs, five cats, six horses, several chickens, and a turtle. Each one of our pets has a distinct personality. So one of my favorite subjects to scrapbook is what our pets are like.

This page (created for Scrapbook Challenges) tells the story of our dog Sasha, a Saint Bernard/Great Pyrenees mix. She absolutely LOVES the snow. She will lay down right outside our back door and nap while the ground is covered in white.

I want to make sure I do more pages like this one so that I document all the little quirks that make our pets special.

Now go create!

  1. I also had a “snow dog” – a Siberian Husky named Sasha too! Your lovely layout made me remember how she used to happily play and roll around in the snow. Your Sasha looks very regal, and like she can’t understand why everyone else doesn’t want to sit out there with her.
